those little bastards.totally fresh.
they are so freaking cute
I don't know about this one. It seems a little creepy to me. The idea of having a little mini-me is a bit off-putting. Not saying that my future-kid won't be styling, but I'll probably stick to dressing him in chucks, jeans, and a t-shirt. Wait, maybe he will turn out to be a mini-me...
I wish I could look that cool in clothes.
I love their sneakers and shoes; neon laces on the desert boots and purcells, and fresh colors for the sperry CVO's.
Yo, is that Will Smith's kid?
This is so great. My lil' one has been needing some solid staples to pad out his kit. This stuff will look tits with his McNairy cargo camo training pants, and Gitman-mini and Lil'Stevie Alan shirting. Now he's really going to need that Billykirk pacifier tether.
Anon @5:47- Blogosphere bitterness? Crew Cuts bitterness?
I feel lucky sometimes that I'm a short endurance athlete that can still fit into XL sizes from Gap and Crew and H&M sometimesThe only part that stinks is the shoes - Gap Kids shoes are awesome - why aren't they making these things adult sized!?
No bitterness intended. Just a dad makin' a joke dude. Love the site, love nice duds... Shop for my kid at goodwill.
Anon @8:18- You gotta keep you laced in choice threads man...forget Goodwill. Unless of course that prevents you from staying fresh yourself haha.
Indeed. How am I going to afford those suede desert boots for myself if I'm shelling out fifty bucks on a shirt my kid will grow out of in two months. Expensive kids clothing is for suckers... The squirts grow so fast there is no justification for those prices. Tip: stake out the thrift stores in nice neighborhoods because there is always plenty of last season's Baby Gap some aforementioned sucker's kid no longer fits into... Almost always at 0.99 cents.
Anon, how did you convince your wife, or is she on-board? I'm with you in every aspect, but my fiancé still thinks thrift stores are dirty. ...Which they are, but nothing a good washing won't help.
these clothes are too pricey imho but i have bought things for my nephews in the sale section. they are 2 and 4 and it never hurts to start them out right.
to all the dad's... invest in the classics and you won't always be needing to run out for the latest trend. no need to compete with the kids over style... seriously... let those little dudes shine, it'll make you look 10 times better as a consequence.
BadScene,Just wait till the overall cost of child rearing rears it's ugly head... She may change her tune. I just stay away from obvious stains and wash as soon as I get the stuff home... Baby gap jeans and quality tops at pennies on the original price points. You can really tell the quality stuff... A lot of old navy stuff is in tatters before it makes it to the thrift bins. ...but now thanks to LAS in totally coveting that ochre knit top for my kid. Damn.
I think these kids look fly as hell.I agree with the thrifty father on growing rates.Ultimately, this gear has to be for city kids. No kid who loves playing in the dirt or catching frogs will be allowed to do it in threads this nice
