That duck sweater is GENIUS. But this reporter dude had the typical fuddy duddy "kids these days" attitude that almost killed it for me. Anyone who refuses to pronounce Ralph Lauren correctly gets an automatic -10
Bill Green (voice and news guy in the shoot) is a Maine stalwart who no doubt secretly loathes Bean's move into more trendy fashion forward avenues. I live in Maine and am a 20 something. To be honest I am excited about this. Growing up everyone here just associated LL Bean with their dad's less than trendy outings. First their shoes gained respect among young people here. It hasn't been until recently that their clothes garnered respect from young Mainers. We've always headed their for outwear, but not much more. I live 20 minutes from the store and can't wait for this new stuff!
This guy's voice absolutely killed this video for me. But the new F/W line looks like it'll have some really solid pieces.
ReplyDeleteWholly hell!..did anyone else peep the "duck-hunt" crew neck intarsia sweater in the background? I cant wait to cop that item
ReplyDeleteHey Lawrence, thanks for the shout out. I was wondering why my stats spiked.
ReplyDeleteI'm digging the fall stuff. I think I saw a cardigan version of the Norweigian sweater in the video for a split second.

I love that jacket the guy is wearing in the video preview frame above. When does the Fall line usually come out?
ReplyDeletethe video preview frame looks like the guy on the right is about to grab the head of the guy on the left and smash it into a wall.
