Tanner Goods
Tanner Goods have been available at various stockists around the world and with the re-launch of their website you can now buy some of the finest leather goods made in the USA directly from the source. There are wallets and bags among other things, but the belts are TG's bread and butter. There are a bunch of different widths and leathers to choose from along with your choice of hardware - the black being the most interesting option. I'm close to pulling the trigger on one. As PNW eco-yuppie as it sounds, I really like that they vegetable tan which is good for the environment.

ReplyDeleteAll of these are well nice, as is the collaboration they've done with 3Sixteen. Shame we can't get this stuff in the UK as I could do with a new belt and these are right up my alley.

ReplyDeleteI've been rocking a black Tanner belt for years and think I am about due for one of those vegetable dye ones.
ReplyDeleteI have one of these, it's a beautiful belt but at the buckle you've got three thicknesses of leather overlapping, so it sticks out almost an inch from your body! It's kind of hard to wear, actually.
ReplyDeleteI've found that the leather flattens considerably with consistent wear. They've also started skiving some of the thicker belts down so that the overlapping area is a lot slimmer than previous incarnations.
