Martin and Osa's steady decline towards the way of the dinosaurs continues with 30% off being offered for entire purchases of both new and sale items. Keep in mind that all sales are final, as are most "going out of business" deals, so before you pull the trigger make sure you at least make a concerted attempt to snatch up the right size, style, etc - there is no going back. New holdovers from S/S 2010 are still showing up daily so if you haven't checked it out in a while it might be advantageous to browse the selection when you get the chance. Some of the new shorts are pretty impressive especially the seersucker joints and the toothpick striped shorts which look a little like a Daiki throwaway. If you've been really digging the dip dye craziness that has hit the scene lately you might want to invest in this poor man's Band of Outsiders sweater. Hit up M+O, say your goodbyes and then pillage like a pissed off Viking.

dammit, never bought from there, now it's a gamble....
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever bought their "chinos"? I like the shorts but like RDJ, I've never bought from M+O.
ReplyDeleteI've tried on the Martin Chino, it fits slightly slimmer than a JCrew Classic Chino but has more taper for a smaller ankle opening, which I liked. I was never impressed with the shorts.
ReplyDeleteI think the cut of the small L/S shirts is pretty good for someone who falls between the Small and Medium at JCrew.
How's their denim? I love the price, but given the no-return policy, it's something of a concern. I'm usually a 32/30 everywhere else, so figure I might just grab a pair.
ReplyDeleteJust so y'all know, coupon code 10007460153986663299 will score you an additional 20% off the entire order, including sale items.
ReplyDeletethat coupon no longer works. appreciate the heads up on this sale though. nice find.
ReplyDeleteDenim didn't fit me too well but I'm pretty thick through the legs and glutes, so I wasn't a fan of the rise. Might be a tiny bit less vanity sized than other places.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm the same that posted above about the chinos; there's a M&O at my local mall.
