Attn: Gant Launches US E-Commerce

We all knew this day was coming eventually.  Today sees the launch of Gant's first in house e-commerce site for those of us living the American dream.  And it's all here - Gant by Michael Bastian, Gant Rugger (by Christopher Bastin) and even their mainline stuff, which isn't heavily marketed across these amber waves of grain.  While select products from these collections could be found at various online retailers prior, this will most assuredly be the easiest way to get any and all pieces each season.  Shit, and you thought you were already broke.

Attn: Ovadia & Sons Online Store Launches

You can now get your hands on some gear from what is easily one of my favorite new brands - Ovadia & Sons have officially launched their online store.  S/S 2011 sportswear is being stocked as we speak and I have been informed that tailored pieces are on their way.  Kit yourself out.

Attn: Fair Isle Ties For $10

In what is surely going to go down in history as the wackest recommendation in Sart Inc history I am pleased to introduce you to the ten dollar fair isle knit ties now available for dudes at Forever 21.  That's right, Forever 21.  Oh yeah, they are also 100% polyester.  So why the hell am I talking about these?  Well, I figured at least one of you out there was eating ramen and muttering to yourself about how a new fair isle tie would really improve your day.  Anyhow, proceed with more than a little bit of caution and don't say I never did anything for you.

Attn: Brooks Brothers Footwear On Sale

Brooks Brothers is currently selling my two favorite styles of shoes at a nice little discount - not a bad way to bring in the new year, eh?  Thom's take on the double monk (heavy, plain toe, black, pebble grain) and an Alden manufactured tassel loafer (that our friend HTJ just talked about) are up for grabs in various stages of availability - an average run on the monks and 10.5 B on the tassels.  In my eyes both of these shoe styles are staples in any well dressed man's wardrobe and are the two styles of shoes you are most likely to see me in day after day - what the hell's a longwing?  If you're still at that stage of the new year where you're actually trying to better yourself (or are we already past that point?) you might want to start from the ground up.

Attn: Oak Street Goes Navy

So you want more boots, eh?  Well Oak Street Bootmakers will give you some more goddamn boots.  At 10 am EST today all of their boot styles are going live in navy.  Yeah, you heard me right - Navy Chromexcel.  The stuff dreams are made of no doubt.  Rock and roll.  But seriously, stop looking at shoe porn and go to bed.  They will be there in the morning.  I promise.

Attn: L.L. Bean Signature's New Boots

Damn, this came out of nowhere.  Today sees the launch of a bunch of new items from L.L. Bean Signature just in time for the holidays.  The standouts of all the new arrivals are three boots - 2 wholly new styles (the wedge sole boot is handsewn in Maine by the way) and one new version of the instant classic waxed canvas L.L. Bean boot.  I'm pretty impressed with the new designs, which are definitely a step in the right direction, no pun intended, for Signature.  Based on looks alone, these boots all appear to be surefire winners and will definitely be climbing the ranks of many holiday wish lists and gift guides right about...now.

Attn: Oak Street Bootmakers Boots Pre-Order

When Oak Street Bootmakers popped up on the scene a few months ago lots of people wanted to know where the actual boots were.  Yeah, their shoes were awesome, but where were the heavy duty kicks for F/W?  Well, after debuting their line of boots at this year's Pop Up Flea, Oak Street has just put their boots online for pre-order.  I saw these in person and I want everyone to know that they are indeed incredible.  The three styles, a camp boot, a hunting boot and a hunting chukka are all handsome as hell and made with the kind of attention to detail you normally see in boots twice as expensive.  The stats are identical to their shoes - Horween Chromexcel leather and made in the U.S.A.  If you are into the Americana look and need a new pair of boots for the next, I don't know, 20 or so years, I highly recommend heading down Oak Street.

Attn: Mark McNairy Gets A Webstore

This just in - Mark McNairy has launched his own official webstore along with a comprehensive list of stockists worldwide.  The guy you all love or all love to hate is selling everything from his made in Maine mocs to his one-of-a-kind fun shirts in one convenient place.  There is even something for the ladies.  The only thing missing is the return of these badboys, but I wouldn't hold my breath.  'Bout damn time.

Attn: Grenson Online Shop

I'm not sure how many of you guys were patiently waiting for it to launch, but Grenson's online shop is now open for business.  I'm also not sure how many of you guys need a new pair of shit kickers, but this would probably be a good place to start.  Grenson knows how to make both seriously classic and more "forward" footwear so, no matter what you're currently looking for/lusting after, your tastes should be accounted for.

Attn: Gant Sale At Epaulet

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving - I know I did.  In fact, I'm still kinda on vacation so forgive me if things stay a tad bit sporadic around these parts for a bit.  And if you're one of those guys who hates to read Sart Inc, you're welcome.  Moving on, Epaulet has a nice little Gant markdown party going on.  Mike and Adele have put their Gant by Michael Bastian and Rugger stock (minus the Homerun Varsity) on sale, so head on over and start stuffing those stockings.  Mom, if you're reading this, I could use a new trench coat.  You're the bestest.

Attn: Rugby Holiday Savings Event

I don't know about you, but I woke up to, I don't know, 50 or so emails alerting me to the various holiday sales that started around midnight.  I do not have the effort necessary to talk about all of them so I'll mention Rugby's since that's a brand a lot of you guys enjoy - not to mention their F/W 2010 gear has impressed the shit out of me as of late.  At checkout you can use the code "RUGBYHOLIDAY" to get 25% off all styles and free shipping.  Not bad if you ask me.  Was anyone even asking me? No? Okay, never mind.

Attn: Sid Mashburn New Arrivals

Sid Mashburn has been quietly adding new items to their Taigan stock and this is as good of a reason as any to finally register your ass with these guys - at the very least you can start planning ahead for that eventually field trip to Atlanta.  The highlights for me include one of the most impressive chambray shirts of recent memory and a diesel pair of cap-toe, pebble grain boots that are insanely versatile for this time of year.  By this point I'm sure we're all aware how well made Sid's gear is, but for those of you who need a refreshed, the shirts are made in the U.S.A. and the shoes are made in England - the smallest amount of effort will even let you know exactly what manufacturers are involved.   Head on over to Taigan when you get a chance and be sure to scope the smaller ticket items as well (ties, pocket knife, clothing brushes, etc.) since they often make the best gifts this time of year.

Attn: Patrick Grant Speaks

In a new feature over at GQ UK, sartorial mastermind and Sart Inc favorite, Patrick Grant is going to be blogging weekly for the esteemed menswear publication.  In his inaugural column Patrick muses on Britain's "unpatriotic" obsession with denim and quotes Snoop Dogg.  Need I say more?

Attn: Steven Alan Online Sample Sale

You crazy for this one, Steven!  It's that time of the year again, folks.  The time when a certain server crashing, blood donating, wife and kids leave you, Gilt shaming (no shots) online sample sale hits the internet.   The steals and deals that abound here are borderline illegal and the fact that there is actually killer in season gear makes it that much better.  This sale is so comprehensive that literally any gap in your wardrobe can be filled without the fear of how selling your first born is going to tear your family apart.  I highlighted my favorites below so don't forget to Paypal ya boy a finder's fee after you pull the trigger.

Attn: D.S. Dundee F/W 2010 Launches

With retailers just getting their own stock, D.S. Dundee has launched their F/W 2010 collection in their own webstore along with an absolutely epic lookbook.  I was lucky enough to see all of this stuff in person and I cannot stress the quality to price ratio enough.  From the tailoring on down to the shoes, D.S. Dundee know how to craft some beautiful items without ripping the heart out of their customers.  From what I saw and got to try on, the tailoring is the high point.  The Harris tweed is not to be trifled with and the results are some serious killer country gent ensembles.  I could go on about the details (ticket pockets, side vents, perfect lapels), but I'll let you guys check that out for yourself.  My favorites are below and make sure you check out that lookbook if you want to know how a grown man dresses for a scenic getaway to end all scenic getaways.

Attn: Cerbero Double Monks On Sale

Cerbero is back and fully loaded on Yoox.  If you head on over there now you can pick up some nice double monks for $165-$175 before shipping.  I'll admit, the Italian shoe brand's quality is tad bit questionable - I've read first hand accounts mentioning how great Cerbero is for the price and I've talked to people who have returned the shoes the moment they got their hands on 'em.  Ultimately, I prefer to judge for myself and since Yoox has a pretty good return policy I took the risk by scooping up a navy suede pair (pretty much the only double monk colorway I've wanted, but had yet to get my hands on).  I like the natural toe on these and even though I could do without the heel stitching, this is a damn good deal.  There are also options in black calfskin and brown suede so regardless of how you want to wear these you should be good to go.  Also, Yoox has some incredible stuff on sale, both shoes and otherwise, right now so it wouldn't hurt to browse a little when you've got some free time.

Attn: Mark McNairy for PRO-Keds Now Available

While you're digging around UO's site looking for all that new J. Press gear you love to hate (it's still there, I promise) make sure to check out Mark McNairy's collaboration with PRO-Keds that was first announced back in January.  UO stocked up on the better colorways that feature vibrant suede and natural gum soles - Mark's take on red brick sole for sneakers.  The sneakers come in at $100, but that's not incredibly ridiculous, especially considering these sneakers are most likely never going to get made again.  I know for a fact some of you style guys used to be sneakerheads so I am sure at least a few of you appreciate what is going on here.  These PRO-Keds retain all the great parts of an exclusive sneaker drop, while maintaining the classic aesthetic that should be a necessity when buying sneakers in the first place.

Attn: Lands End Canvas New Arrivals

With each new release Lands End Canvas ages like a fine wine.  No, seriously.  When they dropped their first collection way back when in terms of blog years things were pretty basic.  Good basics, mind you, but overall it was pretty vanilla.  Perfect stuff for the kind of guy looking to take a step in the right direction and "fix up, look sharp".  As it stands today, LEC has apparently grown along with their customer.  The LEC guy is probably ready for some more "complicated" stuff and LEC is ready to give it to him.  40 new pieces have hit their webstore today and a good portion of them are very impressive.  The knits shine the brightest as well as some affordable tailored goods and outerwear.  Interestingly enough, they have even put their own spin on a few items found in Lands End's mainline.  Look familiar?
