Ovadia & Sons is a new company out of New York entering the world of hand tailored suiting. Started by two brothers whose family have been in the clothing business for 25+ years, Ovadia & Sons is their first foray into menswear and focuses on creating pieces with the best fabrics and manufactures the industry has to offer. I need to do some more research to find out where the clothing is made exactly, but I do know their ties are made by Drakes of London (shoes are also made in the UK). Regardless, things looks really good and while O&S calls their collection "cutting edge Americana" I am a tad inclined to find reference points in a much more European style of dress. Anyhow, be on the lookout for their S/S 2011 collection, a preview of which can be seen below and some of which was featured in WWD last week. I should also point out that the zig zag tie is a must own.

ReplyDeleteDamn, that tie was meant for me. It'd match my watch strap perfectly.
ReplyDelete^ Good info on the tie James.
ReplyDeleteLawrence - do they have any stockists lined up in the U.S. yet?
R.A. - I don't think so. I think they might have their own store/showroom in NY?
ReplyDeleteThe tie is the official tie of the English Royal Artillery.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback guys - theres a lot more to show.
ReplyDeleteRight now, we are exploring options to see who we want to stock the line.

ReplyDeleteThe window pane suit is stunning and I must own that zig zag tie.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful stuff.
Love the shirts. Remember us Tall guys!!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget us "larger guys" too. Well dressed men can wear a 46R or 48R suit and still want to look smashing!
ReplyDeleteVery, very well done.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a bit too handmade, and not the good handmade, more like homemade. I don't see any Americana there. It's Italian enough to be Lino. All they need to sell now are some pocket chains.
ReplyDeleteThis stuff is insane...please update where it will be sold, I have to have that grey suit.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Mens Wearhouse.
ReplyDeleteAnd the tie is from Smart Turnout
classics.
ReplyDeleteSorry but no man needs a pair of velvet slippers.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the Prince Albert Slipper in this collection, I know they are real deal. Drakes? SICK
ReplyDeleteTHAT NAUTICAL SWEATER W GLD BTNS IS SOMETHING I HAVE BEEN ON THE HUNT FOR. DOES IT COME IN OTHER COLORS? WHATS THE PRICE AND WHAT'S IT MADE OF?...IM INTRIGUED.
ReplyDelete-JAKE

WOW... when, where ?
ReplyDeleteUgh. I let someone talk me out of that contrast collar-on-blue gingham in a custom shirt. Now I see how great it would have turned out. Really nice stuff.
