  2. David- My pops was married in a pair and they are amazing. Hoping he is going to send those my way sooner rather than later.

  3. Fantastic video.

It's really good to see just how products like this are produced - when the term 'handmade' means exactly that.

  4. I've been wearing these folks shoes for over 40 years and my pa wore them before me. I've probably got about 20 pairs (multiples of some styles I like like Diplomat and Consul) some of which have been factory repaired three times. I visited their factory in Northampton about 30 years ago and it doesn't seem to have changed much. They've never been cheap but I have to say I did experience mild sticker shock the last time I went into their Madison store and saw that they now run about $750 for a pair of dress shoes in most styles. I'd still buy because you know the quality is there and their new owners seem to have been sensible about how they handle the brand. A few new last shapes or switches to update the look but nothing too crazy. Some of their casual stuff is great too, the choc brown desert boot is about the best I've seen anywhere although the Alden runs it a close second. Church's are great shoes.

.....You don't look like an 11C to me.....and in any case they're being buried with me and in the meantime I need them.

  7. BJ- Don't know what I "look like", but I just so happen to be a 10.5/11C. Anyway, 20 pairs seems as much of a reason as any to make some babies dude. Pass 'em along.
