Fake It Until You Make It
Having just re-watched The Talented Mr. Ripley, which all begins with a borrowed Princeton University blazer, and loving this post, I thought it would be neat to highlight the various badges for sale at J. Press. I don't ever recommend pretending to be someone you aren't, but if you were itching to get started on your incredibly stylish European identity theft and murder spree this is a pretty good starting point. I won't be buying these anytime soon, but they are cool to look at.

Great post. I was just asked by an important shipbuilder to bring his playboy, jazz-loving son back from Italy. All I needed was a nice badge for my blazer...thanks.
ReplyDeleteCombine it with a pale blue striped old Etonian tie and your life would be complete
ReplyDeleteI used my Princeton patch on a bathrobe. ( while attending Princeton) It was so horrifying that people left it alone

The Georgetown one is definitely the ballin'-est. Also, a coincidence, just watched Ripley for the first time. Double also, nice blog.
