Antenna Mag gave us the first look a little over a month ago and now a much more in depth look at Gant Rugger's S/S 2011 collection has hit the interwebs thanks to Culture Shoq. There are a ton of different aesthetics at work here, from Rugger's established preppiness to 80's athletic gear, all the way down to European hitchhiker. It's one of Chris' most eclectic collections to date, which is to be expected from a designer whose brand is clearly hitting its stride. Now that Rugger has established itself as one of the major players at its desired pricepoint, Chris seems to have been afforded the opportunity to take things to a new level - in this case, one of varying styles. Despite the fact that there is a lot going on, the unifying themes of bright colors and an overall lightness keep things on the same page. I especially dig the knits and outerwear and a few of these pieces actually look like year round options from where I'm sitting. It's a job well done, as per usual, from the entire Gant Rugger team and I'm definitely looking forward to checking everything out at the Bleeker St. store when it drops.
