The Paradise Traveler

Reyn Spooner proves that F/W is a relative term with their new Paradise Traveler shirt.  Known primarily for their assortment of heritage focused Hawaiian gear, Reyn Spooner is expanding with with their first collection created specifically for F/W.  Just because F/W to RS might not actually mean F/W for those of us living in chillier climates doesn't mean that there isn't a common ground.  Case in point, the Paradise Traveler - a light weight corduroy long sleeve shirt.  I really dig this as a transitional overshirt as the tail end of summer transitions into the first few months of fall.  With the fluctuating weather this time of year it helps to have a versatile piece such as this that can be worn on its own or thrown over another shirt.  You won't sweat your ass off, but you'll stay comfortable and get a chance to layer if you're one of those guys who just can't wait.  I like the blue colorway the best, but the brown and olive options are probably the most traditionally fall ready.  For those unaware, Reyn Spooner's resurgence back to their roots has been a pretty impressive showing thus far.  Thanks to the hiring of CFDA Award-winner Gordon Thompson as Creative Consultant, calling this a "return to form" sounds about right.

  1. Spooning is so highly underrated. Unfortunately we live in a society that is overly obsessed with sexual contact where it's easy to forget the art of holding your partner purely out of love.
