Kina and Carl are bringing in 2011 right by adding a ton of awesome "new" goods to their Etsy shop. The gems they have dug up are pretty incredible - L.L. Bean handkerchiefs, Sierra Designs parkas and even some great stuff for you ladies out there. I was thinking about getting this beauty for myself, but I am not sure if my current emotional state is ready for such a purchase.

Cheesin'
Here's another great Etsy shop for those of you on the hunt for the latest and greatest vintage (oxymoron much?) Americana finds to help fill out that F/W wardrobe. Much like my good friends Wooden Sleepers, Pimento Cheese does all the hard work for you. They scour the best spots and then offer the fruits of their labor for prices that are as easy on the eyes as that perfect L.L. Bean Norwegian sweater. Etsy is slowly, but surely becoming superior to eBay in a sense thanks to well curated shops like this. The key is getting the jump on the good ones before everyone else. Hopefully that's where blogs like Sart Inc come in - a sartorial liaison of sorts. Anyhow, be sure to spend some time over at Pimento Cheese, especially in the coming days. Kina and Carl, the good folks to who run the shop, have assured me that they have some amazing gear lined up.

Wooden Sleepers
So I meet this gentleman, Brian Davis, while in NYC through a mutual friend and he just so happens to not only be an awesome guy, but an incredibly stylish cat as well. On top of that Brian runs the best Etsy shop around. Seriously. If you are a guy who fancies vintage gear you should probably check out Wooden Sleepers ASAP. The backstory is pretty simple. Brian and his girlfriend love to go vintage shopping all over the northeast, hitting up the secret spots that nobody knows about. From these buying trips Brian curates a pretty amazing selection of top notch second hand goods that would fit right into your closet and home. Everything's affordable, unique and just as rad as Brian's own personal style. It's one of those little corners of the internet that once you visit you wish you had known about months ago. Wooden Sleepers works really hard at recreating that incredible vintage spot that's near and dear to your heart - I think they've nailed it and I'm sure you'll agree.
