Get Chunky, Get Granted

Having Canadian Sweater Company fresh in my mind I thought this would be a great time to talk about Granted.  Mr. Ryan Plett put me on to the "made to order" brand recently and if you like bold, not even remotely lean knits you can thank him later.

Granted is based out of Vancouver (Canadians sure know their sweaters) and produce "traditional Canadian and unique hand knit sweaters and accessories using 100% pure new wool, merino wool and possum-blend wool."  They strive to source all of their trimmings and yarn locally, but have found that New Zealand has some of the best wool in the world so take that for what it's worth.  Granted's clothes blend tradition with tounge in cheek and they work "collaboratively with designers to launch signature looks and styles."  Their online shop is stacked with great items (all knits are unisex) so head over if things are getting particularly chilly in your neck of the woods.  It doesn't get chunkier than this.

  1. Wow, "possum-blend?" I don't know...

  2. Sounds like they wove in roadkill with Merino.

  3. That kabuki sweater is intense, especially coming from Canada.
