"I live for myself and I answer to nobody."

More McQueen? Yes please.  Taschen has a great collection of "Icon" books available that provide an in depth look at a variety of menswear, well, icons.  The picture heavy books honor the celebrated careers of men whose personal style is ever present in today's world of menswear.  Books on Steve McQueen, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery and Jack Nicholson are all available here for $11.53 each.  Do your coffee table or inspiration board a favor and get a few of these.  Study Up.

  1. I'm a big fan of Mcqueen myself, he is a true role model. I just recently found Bullitt on dvd in the bargain bin for $3 which, stylistically and dramatically, is one of my favorite movies besides the Thomas Crown Affair. I like some of his westerns, but they don't compare to his more urban films.

  2. David - For my money it's Thomas Crown for style obviously and for entertainment value I'd go with The Great Escape. But yeah, Bullit's car chase, well...I guess it's all been said already.
