Attn: Steven Alan Online Sample Sale

You crazy for this one, Steven!  It's that time of the year again, folks.  The time when a certain server crashing, blood donating, wife and kids leave you, Gilt shaming (no shots) online sample sale hits the internet.   The steals and deals that abound here are borderline illegal and the fact that there is actually killer in season gear makes it that much better.  This sale is so comprehensive that literally any gap in your wardrobe can be filled without the fear of how selling your first born is going to tear your family apart.  I highlighted my favorites below so don't forget to Paypal ya boy a finder's fee after you pull the trigger.

  1. I dig the pictures of that hiking vest, but I clicked on the shot with the model and it looked very homeless. And so I was able to resist spending 130+ bucks on it.

  3. glorious! I've been coveting a new plaid button down (b/c obviously what my wardrobe is missing is that 14th plaid button down) from there and miraculously it's on sale. Not that I'm going to be able to stop myself at one button down but...so it goes.

  4. I was considering that parka too, but it looks like some closures might be velcro.

  7. Good thing I'm broke and don't get paid until Friday because that 60/40 jacket is extremely tempting. I think it might just be the nearly $300 discount, though. Besides, next up on my list of wants/needs are a new pair of jeans and a pair of ropers.

  8. Steven Alan might just be the biggest prick in menswear. I recognized him a few weeks back in Nolita, and not only was he rude when I approached him, but he also was flippantly demeaning to the female waitress that was serving our section of the restaurant.

    Such a fucking tool...

  9. I've heard a lot of negative feedback regarding Mr. Alan's manners. Supposedly most of his staff finds his personality unbearable, but they can't get enough his designs, so they stay on.

Perhaps if he stopped trying to take cues from Bret Michaels on how to be a womanizer, he might actually gain some respect in the menswear game.

  10. Steven Alan has a terrible exchange policy. Nice clothes, but their customer service leaves little to be desired.

  12. All this stuff looks nice at first glance, but then you look at it closer and it all sucks.

Seems sort of cheap but for 120$ on sale, its worth a kop.

  14. Lawrence, before I pull the trigger on reverse seam, it can be altered by a seamstress/tailor the same as a regular shirt, right?
