Adam Rapoport And Lands End Canvas

I'm not sure how the bloggerati missed this, but former GQ Style Editor Adam Rapoport teamed up with Lands End Canvas to do a video series as an offshoot/supplement of the always popular "GQ Rules" feature.  It's most surely for beginners and only features LEC gear, but hey, Rapoport is the shit so whatever.

  2. I think this series of videos that came before the Glenn O'Brien GQ Rules series. It was part of a "win money to LEC" deal or whatever.

    Cool videos though, but it looks like the gear could use a bit of tailoring here and there.

    ^Also good eye AWS

  4. So in the first video, he calls a sport shirt a dress shirt and pairs it with a tie, even though the shirt collar is too small and looks like crap with a tie. After that I quit watching.

  5. I noticed these today also after watching the LEC S/S preview video. Rapoport is cool man. How did GQ let him leave the staff?

    Style is not as narrowly defined as you may like to think. Get out of your little box.

  7. @The Striking Fellow

    "Style" is ever more about fanboy consumerism and worship of trivial celebrities.

    @L.A.S

    FWIW, its great when you post about someone we don't already know doing something that hasn't been done to death by a dozen other people we already know. IMO, the "basics" and "classics" achieve these statuses because they have their own momentum.
