Warriors Of Radness Spring 2010 Preview Pt. 1
The Warriors Of Radness Spring 2010 preview has hit their website and the collection looks as gnarly as your would expect from cats out of Malibu. Say what you will about these 80's influenced pieces, but when the weather gets nice their is a part of me that romanticizes the whole retro California vibe. Surf rats, skate punks and the prerequisite 80's flicks just do it for me and WOR encapsulates a lot of that. Not to mention all of this stuff would go great with your pair of Vans Authentics. Be sure to follow WOR on Twitter and keep your eyes peeled for Pt. 2 of their Spring 2010 collection.

Spring Anoraks
If there ever was outerwear for your warm weather jaunts it would have to be a lightweight anorak. Breezy California style is embodied in these hooded numbers and when aiming to layer in the upcoming months this should be a go to. When topping off that uniform of a white tee, cuffed chino shorts, Vans and a pair of shades grab an anorak like those shown below. You'll be simultaneously channeling The Beach Boys and 80's skate/surf rats before you know it. If your goal isn't to be the most gnarly dude with the most radical gear when the temperature peaks then I guess you can skip the rest of this post. Hopefully as S/S '10 lines start rolling out there will be plenty of options to choose from in a range of prices and I will be sure to highlight them over here as they pop up.

Totally Radical
Hansel: "Excuse me, brah."
Derek Zoolander: "You're excused, and I'm not your brah."
You may have already heard about Warriors of Radness, but if you haven't consider this your introduction to a brand who's making some of the coolest clothes from the left coast. WOR hails from the city of angels and is brining surf inspired gear to the rest of the world. If there ever was a brand whose clothes were made made for beach bums and bonfires this is it. The name really says it all...this gear is radical. The collection has a great vintage look to it, but it is decidely less forced than alot of other comparable stuff you'd find at Urban Outfitters or American Apparel. The clean lines, color blocks and geometric shapes create a simple coolness that is still lost on many designers today. In the midst of these cold months, WOR's warm hues and swim trunks provides a much needed break. Even if the only surfing you do is of the interweb variety there is something here to appreciate and enjoy. The price points aren't too difficult on the eyes and all their stuff can be purchased at Warrior of Radness' online store.
