I have pairs from US, Hong Kong, Japan, and Englahd. They seemed great when I was in college but now the slimmer desert boot feel a bit more mature. They're slimmer and cleaner.

Also, a few years ago the desert treks became thicker and wider. I only have the beeswax and tan suede desert treks left from around early 2000s that have a slimmer and narrower profile, too bad they can't be resoled. Now the sole is thicker and the toe box is wider.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-80940787844681266632010-08-24T16:52:06.843-04:002010-08-24T16:52:06.843-04:00@ The Enthusiast: In other words, the shoes *you* ...@ The Enthusiast: In other words, the shoes *you* like, right?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-91619601846113708112010-08-24T15:02:30.023-04:002010-08-24T15:02:30.023-04:00@ Anon 1:43: Classic monk, classic dubmonk, classi...@ Anon 1:43: Classic monk, classic dubmonk, classic captoe, classic split toe, classic wingtip, classic oxford, etc.The Enthusiasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02666513036467767528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-16246243338795079362010-08-24T14:33:21.465-04:002010-08-24T14:33:21.465-04:00I don't wear mine enough.I don't wear mine enough.Greg Washingtonhttp://www.gregwashington.canoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-20924770721194862192010-08-24T14:27:56.483-04:002010-08-24T14:27:56.483-04:00The centre seam also bugs me.The centre seam also bugs me.Rogernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-85760235891036097512010-08-24T13:56:14.402-04:002010-08-24T13:56:14.402-04:00I have to agree with Tommy V.
