Most of the time when people are blogging or talking about crazy ass customs shoes Tricker's is usually the culprit. The British shoemakers are notorious for their custom orders and if you see a batshit brogue on the internet it's often a safe bet to assume Tricker's had a hand in its creation. Check out Shoe Healer's, a UK shop with a Tricker's account, impressive gallery of various custom jobs they have done for clients. Not crazy enough for you? Give them a call and they'll get Tricker's to make whatever clown shoes you'd like. If you happen to be Japanese I think it's safe to assume this is automatically your favorite Sart Inc post ever - you guys love your custom Tricker's. A lot.

What's In A Name [Update II]
It has come to my attention (see: comments in previous posts) that the Asos "Made In England" shoes are in fact not made by Trickers, but by NPS Shoes Ltd. My apologies for posting information that was not correct and based simply on speculatory rumors. I saw what I believed to be a great deal and jumped at the chance to share it with you guys before really looking into the matter. Regardless, I still believe the shoes are a bargain and stand by my own personal purchase. NPS has been making high quality shoes in England since 1881 and Asos is still selling a bench made, Goodyear welted shoe for an extremely reasonable price. Once again I apologize for the confusion and the lack of "journalistic" integrity on my end. Sart Inc is not and never will be a misleading or dishonest PR vehicle.
Cheers,
Lawrence

What's In A Name? [Update]
As an amendment to this post from yesterday I wanted to mention that Asos is also hawking a Made in England brogue. Like the previous mentioned hardbottoms it is made in the Trickers factory and being sold at a very non-Trickers price. Act now or forever wear crap shoes.

If you have the scratch you can also grab these other brogues that are not currently on sale, but still cheap in the grand ol' scheme of "bench made in England".

What's In A Name?
Well, according to Trickers about $300 dollars. Granted Asos' Made in England shoes aren't of the exact same quality specifications, but they are still bench made in the Trickers factory. Both the tassled loafers and captoes are currently on sale for $132 - high quality Goodyear welted English shoes at extremely reasonable prices are A-Ok in my book. In fact, I just grabbed the brown tasseled mocs for myself. It's rare to find hardbottoms of this caliber for under 3 bills so if you're searching for a new pair to break in sockless this spring look no further. Get out your size conversion chart and have at it.

Trick Me Once...
...shame on me. Trick me twice, shame on my checking account. I guess it's good that I'm not rich or I'd probably own around 50 pairs of Tricker's. Though at that point I could probably build a roof over my head out of them so it would probably even out. Regardless of my shoe shelter fantasies, if you got the scratch you can purchase an array of handsome looking, UK bench made shoes here. I'm particularly fond of those two tone saddles.

On The Subject of Brogue Boots...
The Rachel Comey S/S 2010 brogue boots in the previous post are quite spectacular, but these Trickers are made for double-takes this time of year. One doesn't normally see longwing boots (like the first pair of Trickers) so if anyone has come across some other options if you could please post them up in the comments section.

I apologize for my lack of verbosity, but there's not to much to say here besides "damn", "I wish I wasn't broke" and "thank you holiday spirit for crushing my dreams".
