I say that because I have one of the Club Room joints, a J. Crew joint, and a Ralph Black Label joint. Paid $10 for the first two (got the J. Creezy joint on clearance) and $50 for the Ralph (on sale down from $75). Guess which one looks the best? The Black Label tie looks better, the fabric quality is noticeably better, and it ties a much better knot. Let's ignore the Club Room tie for a sec because it is what it is (a cheap polyester knit) and look at the other two. Both 100% silk, made in Italy, and have comparable full retail prices, but RL has an attention to detail that J. Crew can't touch (in many areas). I was rocking my BL joint and this woman I didn't know IMMEDIATELY asked if she could touch it (she was a cutie pie too... but I digress) because it's s**t people don't see on the regular. Nothing like that has ever happened with my J. Crew or Club Room joint. Club Room = McDonalds, it's cheap and gets the job done. Black Label = Ruth Chris, fly as hell and it might even get you laid. Moral of the story: quality silk knit ties will get you b**ches. <br />-CBC Benjaminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025311351702429872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3895647038898538515.post-53087013976943802342010-07-16T00:42:33.940-04:002010-07-16T00:42:33.940-04:00So funny.
